Mukesh Earns 10 times more than Anil

Two years ago the reliance empire was divided into two parts between Anil Ambani and Mukesh Ambani.At that time Anil had all the smiles with fast growing companies under him But today after two years its Mukesh who is laughing all the way to the bank.
Reason: Mukesh earns a package of 25 crores thats 10 times greater to Anil's 2.4 crore.
According to some the data provided in some business magazine , In the last fiscal year that ended in march 2007, Mukesh took home a total of 24.51 crores as CMD of RIL. Also Mukesh ranks highest among the top paid business men in india. Mukesh is closely followed by Sun TV CMD Kalanidhi Maran and Joint MD Kavery Kalanidhi, whose annual remuneration is close to Rs 23.26 crore each in 2006-07.Telecom giant Bharti Airtel's CMD Sunil Mittal ranks at fourth position with close to Rs 15 crore.Two-wheeler major Hero Honda's Chairman Brijmohan Lal Munjal and the company's MD and CEO Pawan Munjal are ranked at sixth and seventh positions with Rs 13.99 crore and Rs 13.88 crore each.More than 300 executives took home a package of more than Rs one crore, while those with salary in lakhs, but less than a crore, were about 3,000 in 2006-07. the job of CEO is lucarative.But being a CEO is not a cake walk, It involves huge amount of risks A CEO is answerable to the shareholders and also his delivery is critical . He doesnt have a option of going wrong. A person having complex competencies can only become a ceo and for such an xtraordinary person the company doesnt mind spending money. However when compared to global standards the CEO's in India are underpaid. Also the interesting fact is that even if a storm is many kilometers away, this sounds interesting right. Presidential Elections

With Presidential elections round the corner the dirty politics have again started.Leaders of various political parties are trying hard to make their candidate win .These elections have never been so murky as they are now.I always believed that atleast the highest post i.e the first person of this country should be a non politician, he should be some one who is intellectually sound and also should not involve himself in political matters.The current president Dr.A.P.J .Abdul kalam is one of those who is best suited for this post and he should have been given a second term.But again the political parties have become so selfish and also corrupted that they want a candidate from their party to sit in Rashtrapati bhavan.Added to this there have been allegations that Ms.pratibha patil's brother is a murderer and she has a hand in rescuing him, i have never seen any other president of any country being charged with allegations something like this.God save this country from such politicians, and the saddest part of this entire episode was politicians attacking Dr.kalam for making a statement though not official hat he would like to contest if there was a consensus.who the hell on earth has given rights to these corrupted leaders to shout at some one who has been doin his job so well and transformed Rashtrapati bhavan to peoples bhavan. finally all i would like to say is political parties should not assume that they have rights to decide everything, they should act like people's representatives and take in suggestions from people and work accordingly,in the present scenario they act like dictators and if this were to be continued then that day is not far when we feel ashamed to say that our president is some xxxxxxxx wid so many criminal records.
